William Scheibe

William Scheibe, age 84, of Edwardsville, IL, died January 14, 2002, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Funeral services at 11 AM on Thurs., January 17, 2002, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Burial was at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL. Mr. Scheibe retired from Wagner Electric in St. Louis, Mo. in May 1979. He was a member of st. James Lutheran Church in Glen Carbon, Il. He was a veteran of the US Army in WWII and a member of the VFW Post 1299 and Edwardsville Senior Citizens. He was preceded by his first wife Violet (Schipkowski) Scheibe. Survivors in clude his wife Irene Kurmann. 1 Son: Dennis W. Scheibe. 1 Daughter: Carol T. Kelso. 2 Step Daughters: Mary Ann Fish, and Karen Ahne Depping. 6 Grandchildren. 6 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Step-grandchildren. 1 Brother: Orville Scheibe.
