Wilbur W. Davis, age 83, of Edwardsville, IL, died January 23, 2003, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Funeral services at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2003, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL. Mr. Davis was a retired Supervisor for Shell Oil Co. He was a 50 year member of Edwardsville Masonic Ldge AF & AM #99. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Edwarsdville, where he served as an Elder, Deacon, and Sunday School Superintendent. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Baird) Davis, and a brother-in-law, John Burk. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Norma Smoltz, Eva Merle Forshaw and Carol Burk. He was also preceded by 2 brothers: Burl Gilbert and Robert Davis.
