Victor Drexelius

Victor W. Drexelius, age 79, of Edwardsville, IL, died February 11, 2002, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Funeral services at 11 AM on Thursday, February 11, 2002, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Burial was at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL. Mr. Drexelius was a US Army Air Corps Veteran. He flew B-17s and was a member of the 301st Bomb Group, and was a lifetime member of the DAV. He was councilman with the Boy Scouts of America and held a Master of Arts degree in Physics from Washington University. Survivors include his wife Shirley (Bardelmeier) Drexelius; two sons: Vince & Gregory Drexelius, Three grandchildren, and one sister: Bernice Svehla.
