Vernon H. Harris, age 98, of Peoria, IL, formerly of Edwardsville, IL, died June 15, 2002, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria, IL. Funeral services at 10 AM on Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL. Burial was at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL. Mr. Harris is survived by a son, Ron Harris; a grandchild, Susan Pippin and 2 step-daughters: Joann Ginoli and Janet Harris. He was a former member of First Presbyterian CHurch in Edwardsville. He sold insurance for Paul Revere Insurance and was a member of Edwardsville AF & AM Masonic Lodge 99. Memorials may be given to Bradley University, 1501 W. Bradley Ave., Peoria, IL 61625.
