Todd Werner

Todd Werner, 64, of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.  Born January 16, 1961, in Alton, Illinois, Todd was the son of the late Ted Werner and the late Patricia (Jones) Hallis. He is survived by his stepmother, Nyla (Taylor) Werner, and stepfather, Tom Hallis.  Todd is also survived by his siblings, Gary (Sirion) Werner, Jon (Laure) Werner, Robin Prater, Amy (Eric) Pfeilschifter, and Mary Beth (Matt Mochel) Werner, along with many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many dear friends.

Todd was known for his quiet dependability, kind spirit, and subtle sense of humor. He worked for many years at Cracker Barrel and Cambridge House, where he took pride in preparing food and serving others. He was always ready to lend a hand, especially when it came to pet sitting—something he did with genuine care.  An avid gamer and a collector of Swarovski crystals, Todd also enjoyed peaceful days reading, relaxing on Daytona Beach, and spending time with his loved ones. Though soft-spoken, his wit often brought smiles to those around him. He will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville.
