Roscoe W. "Woody" Cannon, age 90, of Edwardsville, IL, died October 6, 2002, at his residence in Edwardsville. Funeral services at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, October 9, 2002, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Burial was at Forever Valley View in Edwardsville, IL. Mr. Cannon was a retired accountant with Shell Oil Co. He also worked for St. Louis Union Trust Co. for 10 years. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps during WW II and was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Edwardsville. He is survived by his wife, Ruth A. (Bishop) Cannon; 2 sons: David C. and Edward W. Cannon; 2 grandchildren; and a sister, Lilla Sullins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Reid.
