Peggy Johnson

Peggy L. Johnson, age 64, of Edwardsville, died at 7:50 pm Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at her daughter's residence. She was an auditor for the Internal Revenue Service, retiring in 1992. She was born June 10, 1939 in Scottbluff, Nebraska, the daughter of Ruby (Carey) Pappas of Temple, Tx. and the late Jack Roberts. Survivors include two daughters: Teri (Cliff Nottinham) Tracey of Denton, Tx., and Natalie (Jerry) Kizzire of Edwardville. Three grandchildren: Loby, Kameron, and Katie Kizzire. One brother, Dr. John (Kay) Roberts of Temple, Tx. She was preceded in death by on grandchild: Nicole O'Neil. Peggy was a member of the Oregon Trail Chapel Christian Church in McGrew, Ne. She enjoyed staying busy with many activities, hobbies, and service clugs. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Sunday, April 25th at the LeClaire Christian Church where services will be held at 2pm. Memorials may be made to the LeClaire Christian Church or American Cancer Society. According to her wishes her body will be cremated and the cremains interred at Gering West Lawn Cemetery in Gering, Ne.
