Pamela J. Skinner

Pamela “Pam” J. Skinner, age 65, of Staunton, IL, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur, MO. Pam was born on May 30, 1959, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Norma M. (Null) Johnson and the late Rev. William F. Johnson.   Pam married Elton D. Skinner, Sr., on May 2, 1980, in St. Louis, MO.  Besides her husband of 44 years and her mother, Pam is survived by her three sons, Bruce W. Skinner & wife Tonya, of Cape Girardeau, MO, Jason D. Skinner & wife Kristen, of St Ann, MO, and Duston W. Skinner & wife Jessica, of Staunton, IL; seven grandchildren, Sierra Kapp, Alexis Skinner, Dillon Skinner, Ty Skinner, Peyton Stickel, Carli Skinner, and Troy Skinner; and two sisters, Debra Doskal of Washington, MO, and Beverly McDonald & her husband Ronald, of St. Charles, MO.  Besides her father, Pam was preceded in death by a son, Elton D. Skinner, Jr., and a sister, Victoria Duerscheidt.  Pam loved all types of animals.  She also loved to travel with her family with trips to Mexico or on the go in the RV. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. The funeral service will be on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 10:00 am at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home with Rev. T. L. Smith officiating. Interment will be at St. James Cemetery in Edwardsville.
