Nadine M. Hamlet

Nadine M. Hamlet, age 87, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Nadine was born in Sullivan, IL, on August 24, 1937, the daughter of the late Walter C. & Pearl (Enloe) Walker.  Nadine married Dale Hamlet on September 14, 1957, at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Edwardsville.  Dale preceded Nadine in death on August 7, 2018.  Nadine is survived by 3 daughters,  Joy Isaacs & husband, Jeff of Port Royal, VA, Vickie Hamlet & wife Nancy Nekola, of Edwardsville, IL, and Karen Koester & husband Lance, of Fairview Heights, IL; a son, Gregory Hamlet & wife Stacey, of Worden, IL; 5 grandchildren, Samantha Isaacs, Felicia Botteri, Shayne Koester, and Derek Koester; 4 great grandchildren, Dorian Huffman, Everett Huffman, Mavis Botteri, and Lydia Yates ; two sisters, Peggy Walker, of Michigan, and Charlene Kelley, of Chicago, IL; and a brother, Jim Walker, of Arizona.  Besides her parents and husband, Nadine was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Hamlet; and two brothers, John Walker and Walter Walker. Nadine was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Edwardsville. Nadine was an amazing quilter.  She enjoyed camping with family & friends and was a member of the Cardinal Wing RV Club.  A memorial visitation will be from 10 am until 12 pm Thursday, March 27, 2025, at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Edwardsville.   A memorial service will follow at 12 pm also at the church with Rev. Grant Armstrong officiating.  Interment will be at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. John’s Church or Eden Village Living Center.  Condolences may be expressed online at weberfuneralhome.com.
