Milton Siegrist

Milton R. Siegrist, age 83, of Edwardsville, IL, died February 13, 2004, Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, IL. Visitation 5 PM to 7 PM on Monday, February 16, 2004, at Weber Funeral home. Funeral services at 7 PM on Monday, February 16th, at the Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Private Interment Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL. During the 1940's Milton and his brother owned the Siegrist Style Shop in Highland. He was employed by the Illinois Bureau of Employment Security from 1954 until his retirement as manager in 1982. He spent his 22years of retirement enjoying life, bowling, and golf. He was a member of the Well United Church of Christ in Glen Carbon. A veteran of the US Army Air Corps, he served during WWII in Guam as Staff Sgt. of Headquarter Squadron Army 20th Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion for 59 years, currently a member of American Legion Post 199 in Edwardsville. He was a member for 55 years Highland Masonic Lodge #583 AF & AM. Survivors include his wife Wilma (Earnhart) Siegrist of Edwardsville. A daugher Sharon Kay (Husband C.E. "Vince") Vincent of Clearwater Beach, Florida. A brother Alfred Siegrist of Highland. A godchild Donna Suess of Edwardsville and a nephew Wayne Siegrist of Highland. Family requests memorials to Gateway Regional Hospice.
