Michael S. Swiecicki

Michael S. Swiecicki, age 66, of Benld, IL, passed away on September 11, 2024, at Staunton Community Hospital in Staunton, IL.  Michael was born on August 6, 1958, in Granite City, IL, the son of Linda (Miles) Rensing and the late Raymond Swiecicki. Besides his mother, Michael is survived by a daughter, Melissa McEldowny & her husband Sean, of Edwardsville, IL; a son, Dr. Matthew HagenSwiecicki & his wife Chelsie, of Oak Park, IL; four grandchildren, Niko HagenSwiecicki, Amelia McEldowney, Maddie McEldowney, and Sawyer McEldowney; two brothers, David Rensing, of Bull Shoals, AR, and Dan Swiecicki, of Glen Carbon, IL; and his partner in life, Judy Hill. Michael had a passion for history and true crime.  He was also an avid Cardinals baseball fan.  Michael will be cremated according to his wishes.  In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Condolences may be expressed online at weberfuneralhome.com.
