Michael Charles Delaney

Michael Charles Delaney, age 51, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  Mike was born on January 12, 1974, in Houston, TX, the son of Michael J. Delaney, Jr. & Jane (Beck) Delaney.  Besides his parents, Mike is survived by his two sisters, Melissa Lewis & husband Timothy, of Louisville, KY, and Diane Harmening & husband Andrew, of Milwaukee, WI; two nieces, Addyson Lewis, of Louisville, KY, and Katelyn Harmening, of Denver, CO; two nephews, Alexander Lewis, of Louisville, KY, and John Harmening, of Denver, CO; and his best friends Steven & Megan Zimmerman, of Bethalto, IL.  Mike graduated from Edwardsville High School Class of 1992.  Mike was currently a manager at McDonald’s and had been there for almost 30 years.  He was a skilled pool player and was a member of the American Pool Association Mid Illinois Club.  He also enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes.  Mike will be cremated according to his wishes and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date this summer. .
