Mary Jane Kirk, age 85, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away peacefully to her heavenly home at her residence on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Jane was born in Litchfield, IL, on November 9, 1938, the daughter of the late John & Marian (Moore) Schumacher. Jane is survived by her two daughters, Kim Kirk, of Edwardsville, IL, and Kris Seubert, of Wood River, IL; a step daughter. Monica Perry & her husband John, of Glen Carbon, IL; five grandchildren, Jason Perry & his wife Heather, of Evansville, IN, Justin Perry, & his wife Lisa, of Glen Carbon, IL, Brandon Kirk & his fiancée Rebecca Kriegh, of Collinsville, IL, Kayla Seubert, of Wood River, IL, and Ryan Schrumpf, of Collinsville, IL; four great grandchildren, Connor Perry, Liam Perry, Ty Vaughn, and Jade Jacinto; her two fur babies, Scout and Zoey; and many cousins. Jane will be remembered for her sense of humor, infectious laugh, and her love and dedication to her family. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading novels, and especially watching the Golden Girls. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 10 am – 12 pm at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. A memorial service will follow at 12 pm with Rev. Robert McNutt officiating. Interment will be held privately at St. James Cemetery in Edwardsville. Memorials are appreciated to the National Parkinson‘s Foundation or to Partners for Pets.
