Mark Thomas Crane

Mark Thomas Crane, age 54, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at his residence with his family by his side.  Mark was born on April 2, 1970, in Springfield, IL, the son of Thomas & Norma (Smith) Crane.  Mark married Jean Marie (Hansel) Crane on August 11, 1990, in Collinsville, IL.  Besides his parents and wife of 34 years, Mark is survived by a son, Quentin Crane, of Edwardsville, IL; a daughter, Zoe Crane, of Edwardsville, IL; and a sister, Jennifer Davis & her husband Jim, of Edwardsville, IL. Mark was an electrician by trade and ran his own company Bright Moon Services for over 25 years.  Mark enjoyed working in his garden, camping trips, and game nights with his wife and their many friends through the years.  Mark was also very active in helping with the local Edwardsville Boy Scouts troop for numerous years. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville.  Family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.  Condolences may be expressed online at weberfuneralhome.com.
