Marilyn Brown Obituary

Marilyn Kay (Busse) Brown, age 59, of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Wood River and Edwardsville, IL, lost her corageous battle with cancer March 9, 2003, at her residence in Florida. Funeral services at 11 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2003, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL. Mrs. Brown moved to Punta Gorda, FL after retiring from Wood River-Hartford School District #15. She was a much loved and inspirational teacher and was known for her love of life. She was encouraged in her battle by her many friends during the six years of her extended illness. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Brown.
