Marguerite Takacs

Marguerite E. Takacs, age 84, of Edwardsville, IL, died January 21, 2004, Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, Il.. Visitation 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Friday, January 23rd, at the funeral home. Funeral services at 7:30 PM on Friday, January 23, 2004, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Private Interment at Forever Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL. Marguerite was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary Post 199, and she played in the women's golf league at the American Legion Golf Course for many years. Survivors include two sons: Donald Takacs & James (Wife Cay) Takacs all of Edwardsville. One grandchild Stacy Takacs. Two brothers Jack Fox of St. Jacob and Bill Fox of Troy, Il. She was preceded in death by her husband Alex, two sisters Blanche McGovern & Mary Louise Merkle. Family requests memorials to Hospice of Madison Co. or St. John's United Methodist Church.
