Louis Smoltz Obituary

Louis Smoltz, age 90, of Edwardsville, IL, died July 12, 2003,at Eden Village Care Center in Edwardsville. Funeral services were private. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Glen Carbon, IL. Mr. Smoltz was retired from the L & M Railroad and the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. He was a member of American Legion Post 199 and Edwardsville VFW Post 1299. He is survived by 2 nephews: Joe Smoltz and Thomas Detienne; a niece, Mrs. Richard Weidey, and by great-nieces and nephews.
