Louis Giacomelli

Louis "Jake" Giacomelli, age 91, of Edwardsville, IL, died April 23, 2003, at his home in Edwardsville, IL. Visitation was from 4 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, April 24th, at the funeral home. Funeral services at 11 AM on Friday, April 25, 2003, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Burial was at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, IL. Mr. Giacomelli was a pipefitter for Shell Oil Company in Wood River, IL. retiring in 1968 after 25 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pipefitter's Local #553, Past Fire Chief of Livingston, Lions Club of Livingston, and a former Trustee in Williamson, IL. Survivors include his wife Helen (Hutchins) Giacomelli of Edwardsville. Three daughters: Virginia Ulett of East Alton, Nancy (Larry) Suhre of Edwardsville, and Gail (David) Chapman of Edwardsville. Seven Grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters. Memorials are suggested to EGHM Foundation School Dist. #7, Trinity Lutheran School, or Donor's Choice
