Lonnie Ahart

Lonnie J. Ahart, age 69, of Glen Carbon, Illinois, died August 31, 2002, at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Charles, Missouri. Funeral services at 7 PM on Tuesday, September 3, 2002, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville, IL. Burial was at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, Illinois. Mr. Ahart worked for Granite City Steel for 47 years. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville, a 4th degree member of the Edwardsville Knights of Columbus, the St. Vincent Depaul Society and Laborer's Local 179. HE is survived by his wife, Myrtle (Moore) Ahart; 7 sons: Jerome, Richard, Greg, Victor, Michael, Kyle and Scott Ahart; a daughter, Terry Ahart; 5 brothers: Robert Ahart, Ronnie, Reggie, Larry and Gary Crummer; and 3 sisters: Ruby Chenault, Melvina Ahart and Stella Burns.
