Linden A. Drda

Linden A. Drda, age 94, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.  Linden was born on May 1, 1930, the son of the late John C. & Edith (Landolt) Drda.      Linden A. Drda married Sandra Lerch on November 17, 1954, at Eden Church in Edwardsville. Sandra preceded Linden in death on January 2, 2024. Linden is survived by a son, Steven L. Drda & his wife Charmaine, of Edwardsville, IL; and a brother, Verlin “Jinx” Drda, of Jupiter, FL. Besides his parents and wife, Linden was preceded in death by a sister, Verna Jean Lohmar. Linden was a veteran of the US Army and stationed in Alaska during his time in the service. Linden worked as an accountant for many years for Thiems Construction before his retirement. He also helped do the book work for his wife Sandra’s clothing store Sandy’s LTD Limited. A memorial visitation will be on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville.  A private interment will take place at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, IL.
