Leon Smiddy Obituary

Leon R. Smiddy, age 68, of Collinsville, died July 30, 2003, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Funeral services at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2003, at Calvary Baptist Church in Edwardsville, IL. Interment at Goodbread Cemetery in Gorham, IL. Mr. Smiddy was retired from Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis as a Lab Technician. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Edwardsville, where he was active with Lay Ministry at area nursing homes. He was also an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Tomlinson) Smiddy; 2 daughters: Tina (David) Church and Dawn (Scott) Barr; and 4 grandchildren.
