LaVerne Bornemann

LaVerne A. Bornemann, age 76, of O'Fallon, Illinois, formerly of Edwardsville, died December 1, 2002, at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois. Funeral services at 3 PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2002, at Eden United Church of Christ in Edwardsville, IL. Burial was at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, Illinois. Mrs. Bornemann was a member of Eden United Church of Christ in Edwardsville. She was an active participant in variious church in which she has served. She was a leader in the church choirs, bell choirs, church schools, and women's work at the local and conference levels. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Dr. Wesley Bornemann; 4 sons: Daniel (Pam) Bornemann, Lt. Jeffrey (Shawn) Bornemann, Eric (Lisa) Bornemann and Timothy (Patti) Bornemann; 1 daughter: Pamela (Charles) Leonard-Kukorola; 16 grandchildren and a sister, Susan O'Brien. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
