Judy Camplain

Judy Camplain, age 80, of Edwardsville, IL passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024. Judy was born in 1943, the daughter of the late Clark & Mary Thompson. Judy married John W. Camplain on September 21, 1963, in Oregon, IL. After 53 years of marriage, John preceded Judy in death on April 11, 2016. Judy is survived by her two daughters, Sandy (Steve) Holmes, of Edwardsville, IL, and Beth (Josh) Sonneborn of Springfield, IL; three grandchildren, Curt (Laura) Primas, Cody (Katie) Primas, & Lexi Sonneborn; three great grandchildren, Graysen, Luca, & Nolan; a brother, Merle (Jane) Thompson, and her extended Camplain family including numerous sister and brother in-laws as well as many nieces and nephews. Judy enjoyed line dancing and traveling with her girlfriends. She was an avid reader, loved working on puzzles, and anything to do with frogs. In lieu of traditional mourning, we request the joy of your company at a Celebration of Judy’s vibrant spirit on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at The Hall, 7132 Marine Rd, Edwardsville IL., from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
