Joyce Dobrinich, age 99, of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at home after a brief illness.  She was born on May 11, 1927, in Swansea, IL, the daughter of Arthur and Henrietta Goodnick. In 1961, she married Joseph Dobrinich and made a home in the Panama Canal Zone.  When Joseph passed away in 1969, she returned to Edwardsville where she spent the remainder of her life. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph Dobrinich, sister June Dobrinich, brother Malcolm Goodnick and infant son David Dobrinich. She is survived by son Gregory Dobrinich, of Affton, Missouri as well as nieces and nephews. 

Joyce was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Edwardsville and a graduate of Edwardsville High School.  She was employed for many years at Madison County Abstract and Title Co. and Chicago Title and Trust Co. before she retired.

Joyce loved the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and was an avid bingo player for many years.  She loved visiting the public library to find all the latest non-fiction books.  

According to her wishes there will be no services. She will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Livingston, Illinois. Weber & Rodney Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
