Josephine Heuertz, age 84, of Wood River, IL, died March 3, 2003, at VIP Manor in Wood River, IL. Funeral services at 10 AM on Thursday, March 6, 2003, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Springfield, MO. Burial was at Resurrection Cemetery in Springfield, MO. Mrs. Heuertz worked as a registered nurse at all of the hospitals in the Springfield, MO area. She also worked for Zenith Television as an Industrial Nurse. She was a long-time member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Springfield, MO, and a member of the Nurses Auxillary of St. John's Hospital in Springfield, MO. She is survived by a son, Robert Heuertz; 2 daughters: Sarah Heuertz and Rita Marie Heuertz-Ezikiel; and a sister, Mary Jane Beezley. She was preceded by her husband, Joseph A. Heuertz.
