Jessica Lynn Schoenleber Baird

Jessica Lynn Schoenleber Baird, age 38, of Edwardsville, IL, passed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, with her family by her side at her parent’s home in Hamel, IL. Jessica was born on August 8, 1987, in Alton, IL, the daughter of Mark & Sandra Kay (Vallero) Schoenleber.  Jessica married Mitchell Baird on November 26, 2022, in Grantfork, IL.  Besides her parents & husband, Jessica is survived by a sister, Heather (Chris) Schoenleber-McCoy, of Holiday Shores IL; nieces & nephews, Orion, Lee, Shannon, & Morgan Baird. As well as Lylah McCoy. Jessica was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Dale & Shirley (Boster) Schoenleber; and her maternal grandparents, John & Louise (Casper) Vallero.  Jessica had an infectious personality, incredible smile, contagious laugh, and was full of life. She had the ability to talk to anyone. She was able to walk into a room full of strangers and leave the room with many new friends.  She loved her family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews. She also loved animals, including her two cat babies, Bucky & Steve.  Jessica had a passion for doing hair and makeup.  She was a stylist and professional at Paul Mitchell School.   Jessica enjoyed relaxing at home playing video games with her husband.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Carpenter, IL.  A visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 3, at 10:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church in Carpenter, IL, with Rev. Dustin Krystowiak presiding.  Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Carpenter, IL.   The family suggests memorials to Metro East Humane Society, and Zion Lutheran Carpenter Cemetery fund.  Condolences may be shared online at weberfuneralhome.com.
