Jane Franke

Jane Franke, age 82, of Edwardsville, IL, died March 30, 2003, Maryville Manor in Maryville, IL. Visitation was from 4 PM to 8 PM on Monday, March 31st,, at the funeral home. Funeral services at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 1st, at Zion Lutheran Church in Carpenter, IL. Burial was at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL. Jane was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Carpenter. She and her late husband Louis F. Franke owned and operated a tavern and grocery store in Carpenter from 1948 to 1964. Survivors include two daughers;Mary Ann (Husband Terry) Fagan and Carolyn (Husband Donald) Florini all of Carpenter. Three grandchildren: Scott (Wife Jeanne) Florini, Jill (Husband Neal) Benson, and Julie (Husband Darin) Hahs. Three great grandchildren: Logan & Allison Hahs and Jessica Benson. A sister Dorothy Cordes of Alton, Il. Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer's Association or Zion Lutheran Church.
