James Going

James W. Going, age 76, of Edwardsville, IL, died March 1, 2004, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Funeral services at 10 AM on Friday, March 5, 2004, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville, IL. Interment at St. Boniface Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL. Mr. Going was a retired driver for Air Products and Chemicals in Granite City. He is a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville, Edwardsville Knights of Columbus Council 1143, 4th Degree Assembly 0225, and the Edwardsville American Legion Post 199. He was also a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by 2 sons: Matthew Going and Michael Going; 2 grandchildren: Zachary Tyler and Kelsey Jean Going; and a sister, Gloria Ohms. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy J. (Spencer) Going; 1 brother, Elton Going; and 2 sisters: Elma Sasek and Elaine Zaganelli.
