Henry Kemmerer

Henry L. Kemmerer, age 92, of Edwardsville, IL, died October 2, 2002, at his residence in Edwardsville. Funeral services at 1 PM on Friday, October 4, 2002, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Burial was at Forever Valley View in Edwardsville, IL. Mr. Kemmerer worked as a foreman for Construction Machinery Co. in Waterloo, IA. Mr. Kemmerer was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Edwardsville. He had many memberships, including Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Madonna Shrine Number 47, Order of the Eastern Star and Masonic Lodge #105 of Waterloo, IA. Mr. Kemmerer was very active with the Senior Olympics, receiving numerous Gold, Silver and Bronze Stars. He is survived by a son, Charles Kemmerer; 2 daughters, Carol Wetzel and Linda Balch; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers: Kenneth and Robert Kemmerer. He was preceded in death by 2 wives: Margaret Corbin and Beulah Ellis; 1 sister and 7 brothers.
