Glenn Spindler Obituary

C. Glenn Spindler, age 85, of Edwardsville, IL, died January 29, 2002, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Funeral services at 1 PM on Saturday, February 2, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Burial was at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL. Mr. Spindler was a retired operating engineer from Shell Oil Co. in Wood River, IL. He was a US Army veteran of WW II and an avid sportsman. He enjoyed traveling the United States, gardening and ballroom dancing with his wife. He is survived by his wife Fredericka (Frey) Spindler and a sister Dorothy Solter.
