Geraldine A. Rock

Geraldine A. Rock, age 88, of Glen Carbon, IL, died at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Eden Village Care Center.   She was born April 15, 1936, in Edwardsville, IL, the daughter of the late Gus & Rose (Lindhorst) Eberhart.  Geraldine married Arthur O. Rock on June 11, 1955, in Edwardsville. Arthur preceded her on August 1, 2018, after 63 years of marriage.  Geraldine is survived by 2 daughters, Tammy Cinotto & husband Dom of Glenelg, MD, and Dawn East & husband Bryan of Troy, IL; 2 grandchildren, Patrick East & partner Ashe Smith, of Richland, MI, and Dominic Cinotto, of Glenelg, MD; a sister, Marcella Klaus, of Glen Carbon, IL; a nephew, Randy Klaus & wife Caron, of Edwardsville, IL; and a niece, Bonnie Kilmurray & her husband Brian, of Edwardsville, IL. Gerladine was a member of Frieden’s United Church of Christ in Troy. Geraldine enjoyed doing crafts in her spare time and specially making teddy bears for law enforcement and hospitals for children. She was also a pink lady for the Anderson Hospital Auxiliary for many years.   Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2024, at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates with Rev. Tim Harrison officiating.  Interment will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.  Memorials may be given to Frieden’s United Church of Christ.  Condolences may be expressed online at weberfuneralhome.com.
