Gary E. Ramey

Gary E. Ramey, age 66, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away peacefully at his residence on November 24, 2025. Gary was born on September 21, 1959, in Granite City, IL, the son of the late Dale & Mary (Kellenberger) Ramey. Gary married Susan (Ruemmler) Ramey on July 16, 1988, in St. Louis, MO.  Besides his wife of 37 years, Gary is survived by his three step-children, Kari (Tad) Roniger, of Seminole, FL, Emily Spitze of Edwardsville, IL, and Todd (Tara) Spitze, of Marine, IL; six grandchildren, John Roniger, Lydia (Dean) Bryan, Kurt Roniger, Trent Spitze, Trace Spitze, and Tayla Spitze; two sisters, Gale (John) Bivens, of Ashville, OH, and Suzi ( Alan) Legate, of Pontoon Beach, IL; three brothers, Paul (Cathy) Ramey, of Florissant, MO, David (Cindy) Ramey, of Pontoon Beach, IL, and Phillip (Shelle) Ramey, of Granite City, IL; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Besides his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Ramey.  Gary attended Ranken Technical College and worked at Laclede Gas Company until his retirement in 2014. In addition to camping with friends, Gary enjoyed watching football and playing his guitar. He will be missed by all of us who loved him, including their dog, Molly.  Gary was cremated according to his wishes. Condolences may be shared online at weberfuneralhome.com.
