Gary E. Laird, age 36, of Worden, IL, died November 3, 2002, at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton, IL. Visitation was from 4 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, November 5th, at the Weber Funeral Home. Funeral services at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 6th, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Burial in Laird Family Cemetery in Enterprise, IL. Gary Was a police officer for the City of Worden, Illinois. He was confirmed at St. John's United Church of Christ in Midway, IL. He was a member of Edwardsville Moose Lodge #1561. Gary is survived by his parents William H. "Bill" & Donna (Knox) Laird. A brother: William D. (Wife Nora) Laird. A niece & nephew: Brittney & William Curtis Laird. Grandmother Cletamae Knox. One Aunt: Beverly Jean (Husband Tony) Mason. An Uncle: Jack (Wife Jeanette) Knox. He is also survived by a special friend: Christine Whitt.
