Fannie O.D. Brockus, age 81, of Edwardsville, IL, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at her residence in Edwardsville, IL. Funeral services at 2 PM on Tuesday, June 18, 2002, at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, IL. Burial was at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, IL. Mrs. Brockus is survived by 2 sons: William Brockus and John Brockus; a daughter, Susanne Riddle-Haslinger; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; and a brother, George Boston. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Brockus; 2 brothers; 4 sisters; and a son-in-law. She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Granite City, the Navigators Club, Granite City Elks Club and Sunset Hills Country Club. Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Assn. or to BJC Hospice in Alton.
