Ellworth Mebold

Ellworth W. Mebold, age 93, of Edwardsville, IL, died February 24, 2003, at Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville, IL. Funeral services at 1 PM on Friday, February 28, 2003, at the Sunset Hill Mausoleum in Glen Carbon, IL. Burial was at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, IL. Mr. Mebold served in the US Navy during WW II. He was a charter member of the Marine Sportsman Club and the Edwardsville Chapter of the Illinois Wildlife Federation. He was also a member of Edwardsville VFW post 1299. He is survived by a daughter, Jeanne Stewart; and a grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline L. Adams and a brother, Kenneth Mebold.
