Elizabeth Bishop

Elizabeth L. Bishop, age 85, of Edwardsville, IL, died March 21, 2004 in Edwardsville. She was born December 11, 1918, the daughter of the late Hilda Fischer. She married Tom Harris in October of 1955. He preceded her August 12, 1962. She married Myron C. Bishop November 9, 1968. He preceded her in death August 1, 1994. She is survived by 1 step-son, Dr. H. Lee (Jean) Bishop of Worcester, MA; 1 step-daughter, Sonnie (Thomas) Barnum of Lake Forrest, IL; 1 sister-in-law, Ila R. Fischer of Wood River, IL; 1 niece, Tracy Edwards; 1 nephew, Dennis Fischer and a good friend, Peggy Evanik. She was preceded in death by a brother, Louis E. Fischer. Visitation will be from 10 am - 11 am Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville. Funeral services will follow at 11 am. Following cremation, her ashes will be interred at Fairhaven Cemetery in Fairhaven, OH. Memorials may be given to BJC Hospice.
