Elaine Joy Triebes

Elaine Joy Triebes, age 95, of Glen Carbon went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 10, 2025.  Elaine was born June 4, 1929, in Oak Park, IL.  She was married to the late Wilbert A. Triebes on May 21, 1949.  Elaine and Will enjoyed 48 years of marriage and were blessed with five children including four sons and one daughter.  Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Will and her son Steven.  Elaine is survived by three sons, David Triebes (Carol), of Corvallis, OR; James Triebes, of Maryville, IL; and Paul Triebes (Marsha) of Jerseyville, IL; daughter, Nancy White (Michael, deceased) of Virginia Beach, VA.  Other family members left to cherish her memory are Frank Wolf; her grandchildren, Erik (Jennifer) Triebes, Kari (Russ) Triebes Goodyear, Shiloh (Erin) Erven, Callie (Tim) Nanoski, Matthew Triebes, Kasia Kingsriter, Karyn (Scott) Schulte, Kevin (Amanda) Triebes, Kyle Triebes, Amanda (Matthew) Mutter, Mackenzie White; great grandchildren, Kaden, Izabella, Wynnie, Cameron, Sofia, Demi, Allie, Brooks, Roy, Sawyer, Aspyn, Nolan, Georgia, Michael; along with numerous nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday February 20, 2025, at 2 pm, Meridian Chapel at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon, IL.  Visitation with family at 1pm, and a reception immediately following in the Bistro room adjacent to the chapel.  The family suggests memorials be directed to Meridian Village Benevolent Fund.  Condolences may be expressed online at weberfuneralhome.com.
