Elaine Claire Rosado

Elaine Claire (Christiansen) Rosado, 94, of Glen Carbon, IL and formerly of Sycamore, IL passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon, IL.

Elaine was born on August 13, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Clarence and Agnes (nee Bertke) Christiansen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Rosado Sr., and one brother, Ward Christensen.

Elaine was a graduate of Sycamore High School, Class of ’49.

Elaine married Edward Rosado on October 3, 1953 upon his return from military duties in Germany, and resided in Sycamore, Illinois.

Elaine was a dedicated employee of The National Bank and Trust Company of Sycamore for over 40 years.

Surviving is one son, Edward Jr. (Anne), and two grandchildren, James (Kim) Lockett and Evelyn (Mike) Johnson; and one great grandchild, Alivia Lockett.

Per the family, private services will be held in the spring of 2026. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
