Edward Crony, age 78, of Glen Carbon, IL, died July 28, 2003, at his residence in Glen Carbon. Funeral services at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2003, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Glen Carbon. in . Mr. Crony was primarily self-employed in a variety of fields, including real estate development. He most recently was retired from Basler Electric in Highland as a technical writer. He was a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, MI with a BA in English and was a veteran of WW II. He is survived by his wife, Jeannette (Wolff) Crony; and 2 sons: Edward Crony and Eric (Amy) Crony.
