Dorothy Sumner Obituary

Dorothy A. Sumner, age 86, of Edwardsville, died at 1:35 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2004, at University Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edwardsville. She was born Nov. 3, 1917, the daughter of the late Herbert and Dorothy Bull Landon. She is survived by one son, Lanny Sumner of Edwardsville. Mrs. Sumner was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Edwardsville. She was also a member of the Madison County Historical Society, Lusk Cemetery Association and Daughters of the American Revolution. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, at Woodlawn Cemetery with Dr. John Hembruch officiating. Memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church.
