Dorothy A. Nolan

Dorothy A. Nolan, age 74, of Edwardsville, IL, formerly of St. Louis, MO, passed away at 9:45 pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at La Bella of Edwardsville.  Dorothy was born on August 13, 1950, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of the late Rudolph Edwards & Annie Watts.  Dorothy is survived by her three children, Dr. Pat Thurmond & her husband Bill, of Smyrna, TN, Darnett Porter & her husband Kevin, of St. Louis, MO, and Maurice Love & and his wife Christin, of St. Louis, MO; 13 grandchildren, Marcellus Love, Marrion Love, Marshaun Love, Myssa Love, Mauray Love, Makenna Love, Marielle Love, Roman Venour, Milan Venour, Riyad Jadallah, Ashley Oakley, Jerrell Reed, and Barbara Porter; and 3 great-grandchildren, Hadara Bishop, Baylor Oakley, Luke Andrade.  Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by a sister, Bertha Baker. Dorothy enjoyed doing puzzles and was an avid card player, especially spades.  Dorothy was cremated according to her wishes.  Condolences may be expressed online at weberfuneralhome.com.
