Dorothy McCracken

Dorothy E. McCracken, age 94, of Edwardsville, IL., formely Cedar Hill, Tn., died December 29, 2003, Sunbridge Care Center in Edwardsville, Il. There is no visitation A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Cedar Hill United Methodist Church in Tennessee. Interment Elmwood Cemetery in Springfield, Tennessee. Dorothy was a supervisor at DuPont Rayon Factory in Old Hickory, Tn. & Richmond, Va.. She also was employed and retired from the U.S. Geological Survey in Arlington, Va. She was a member of the Cedar Hill United Methodist Church and the Charlotte Reeves Robertson Chapter D.A.R. Survivors include a son: James "Jim" McCracken & his wife Diana of Edwardsville. A daughter Patricia "Trish" Fabio and husband Michael of Fairfax, Va. Two grandchildren: Kathy McCracken and Christopher Fabio. One brother Wellington B. Long, Jr. & wife Lucille of New Bern, North Carolina. She was preceded by 1 grandson: James B. "Jimmy" McCracken, Jr. & a sister Marjorie.
