Doris Dankenbring

Doris R. Dankenbring, age 63, of Glen Carbon, Illinois, died December 8, 2002, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Funeral services at 11 AM on Thursday, December 12, 2002, at St. John United Church of Christ in Collinsville, Illinois. Burial was at Forever Valley View in Edwardsville, IL. Ms. Dankenbring was a 1957 graduate of Edwardsville High School, and a 1961 graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in Bloomington, Illinois. She was the school nurse in Collinsville School District #10 for 13 years, and was the Director of School Nursing Services for Edwardsville School District #7 for 20 years, retiring in May of 2002. She is survived by her mother, Mildred Dankenbring of Alhambra, Illinois, her Godchild, Amy Zagar; an uncle and aunt, Donald and Trudy Behler; her cousins, Richard and Rosemary Busch and Donna Lee Stoughton; and her best friend Sherry Skelton. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Dankenbring and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
