Doloros V. Bratten

Doloros “Toots” V. Bratten, age 85, of Troy, IL, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Doloros was born on December 26, 1938, in Highland, IL, the daughter of the late Clyde & Doloros (Tremmel) Haller.  Doloros married William C. "Bill" Bratten on November 18, 1954, in Edwardsville. Bill preceded Doloros in death on August 24, 2015.  Doloros is survived by a daughter, Robin Bratten-Woerheide & her husband Raymond, of Bridgeton, MO; a son: David Bratten of Troy, IL; four grandchildren: Nathan Woerheide & his wife Jenny, Nicholas Woerheide & fiancée Sami, Callie Bratten-Woerheide and Christopher Bratten; five great-grandchildren, William Woerheide, James Woerheide, Noah Woerheide, Robert Woerheide, and Carleen Woerheide; a sister, Judy Ramirez & her husband Al; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Besides her parents, and husband, Doloros was preceded in death by a son, Billy Bratten Jr; and two brothers, Jim Haller and Monty Haller. Doloros loved to exercise especially going to the gym at the YMCA, walking, and swimming.  She was a lifetime member of weight watchers and a longtime counselor for them.  She also enjoyed going to lunch with her girls.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  A funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 2, at the funeral home at 10:00 am with Deacon Rob Sgambelluri presiding.  Interment will follow at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Edwardsville.
