Cynthia T. Malone

Cynthia T. Malone, age 90, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on January 11, 2025, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Cynthia was born on April 22, 1934, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late John E. & Edythe (Rhys) Taylor.  She married Robert Malone on February 26, 1956. Cynthia received a bachelor’s degree and taught English & French for seven years. Robert preceded her on death on February 24, 2018.   Cynthia is survived by her son, Brendan Malone, of Edwardsville, IL.  Besides her husband, Cynthia was preceded in death by two brothers, Jackie Taylor & John Taylor.  Cynthia loved animals of all types.  She enjoyed watching classic movies and television.  She was also an avid reader and attended to her garden. Cynthia was cremated according to her wishes and no services are scheduled.  Weber & Rodney Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be expressed online at weberfuneralhome.com.
