Craig A. Cross

Craig A. Cross, age 69 of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on Monday March 31, 2025, at his residence. He was born March 6, 1956, in Granite City, IL, the son of the late John & Aileen (Jurgena) Cross. Craig owned and operated Cross Auto Body & Towing in Edwardsville with his brothers for over 45 years. 
He married Sue Ellen Dunn on July 14, 1975, in Wood River, and she survives. Craig is also survived by two daughters, Laura Cross-Kaltmayer & husband Daniel of Edwardsville, Sheri Cross-Gremer & husband Mike of Edwardsville; three grandchildren, Logan, Kyleigh, & Olivia; sister, Rhonda Mayfield of Virginia; sister-in-law, Cindy Cross; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded by two brothers, Gary & Terry Cross. Craig loved spending time with his family, and he also loved going antiquing. 
A visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 7, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m.  on Tuesday, April 8, at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis Mayfield officiating. The burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. The family requests memorial to Partners for Pets or the Hope Tabernacle Church in Staunton, IL.
