Clara Wiegand

Clara Wiegand, age 101, of Edwardsville, IL, died August 1, 2003, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Funeral services at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2003, at Pletcher Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Interment at Buckroad Cemetery in Collinsville Township, IL. Mrs. Wiegand was a seamstress with the shirt factory in Edwardsville. She was an avid gardener and remained very active until her last week, upon entering the hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Delphine (George) Stone; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; 2 step-great-grandchildren; and 1 step-great-great grandchild; and a sister, Amelia Cwan. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands: Joseph Hydron and Otto Wiegand; 1 brother; and 5 sisters.
