Chris E. Fultz

Chris E. Fultz, age 65, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL.  Chris was born on November 30, 1959, in Portsmouth, VA, the son of Eleanor (Lisciandra) Close & the late Harley Fultz.  Chirs was also preceded in death by his stepfather, James Close. Chris is survived by his two brothers, Kent Fultz & his wife Lisa, of Edwardsville, IL, and Brad Fultz, of Edwardsville, IL; nieces & nephews; and his uncle Brad & aunt Faye Heuchert. Besides his father, Chris was recently preceded in death by his faithful companion and chocolate lab, Natty.  After graduating from Edwardsville High School in the class of 1978, Chris went to work for Zubal Brick Laying.  Chris then eventually went on to work for the United States Postal Service retired from there in the late 90’s after being there for many years. Chris enjoyed the rush of skydiving for many years until he could no longer do it.  He was a big football fan, following the Chiefs and loved F1 racing.  Chris will be cremated according to his wishes and a private graveside will take place at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville.  A public Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
