Brandon Joseph Brewer

Brandon Joseph Brewer, age 14, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, in Edwardsville. Brandon was born on July 16, 2010, in Alton, IL, the son of Brian & Brandi (Maupin) Brewer. Besides his parents, Brandon is survived by his sister, Makenzie Foiles, of Edwardsville, IL, his brother, Riley Brewer, Edwardsville, IL; maternal grandmother, Valerie (Frenz) Maupin, of Alton, IL; paternal grandfather, Larry Brewer, of Booneville, KY; and a maternal great grandmother, Connie Frenz, of Jerseyville, IL; and a special friend, Kelsey Englar, of Edwardsville, IL; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends.  Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joe Maupin, and his paternal grandparents, Tim & June Marshall. Brandon was attending Edwardsville High School, where he was just getting ready to start his sophomore year. From the moment he burst onto the scene, he brought light and laughter wherever he went. His quick wit and cheeky grin could turn the most ordinary day into an adventure. As we say goodbye, we remember him not in sadness, but with gratitude—for every smile, every prank, every spontaneous moment he created. May we each try to honor his memory by living as fully, as loudly, and as joyfully as he did. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
