M. Louise Blankenship, age 96, of Glen Carbon, IL, died March 6, 2003, at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, IL. Funeral services at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 10, 2003, at Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto, IL. Burial was at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Bethalto, IL. Mrs. Blankenship worked for County Mutual Insurance Co., retiring in 1971. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto, a past member of the Zion Lutheran Ladies Aid Society and Madison County Farm Bureau. She is survived by a sister, Irene Pape, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Blankenship.
